After a very long build up, we had another fantastic weekend at for this year's Dubs int' Dales VW festival. The show just gets bigger (and better!) every year and with all of the camping tickets completely sold out for the second year in a row, it just proved how popular this show is!
Despite it being the end of the show season, the weather held out for us on Friday and Saturday until we had a torrential downpour in the middle of Saturday night! This didn't deter any of the participants in the 90s themed silent disco in the woods though!
Dubs in't Dales was again a family friendly, relaxed show, where we had various fun activities taking place throughout Saturday, with live music on both Friday and Saturday night. We held a cruise on Saturday evening, where we took in the local sites and then stopped for a photo opp and a quick visit to a local pub.
Throughout the weekend there were loads of VW's to admire, live music, a Dub drive in the dales, show and shine, family fun and games and great food and drink on offer.
The Camp Hill estate also held activities on the where you could all have a go on Segway tours, Quadbiking and our adrenaline filled high rope course and 650ft Zip Wire which were all at special discounted rates for Dubs In't Dales ticket holders.
A percentage of proceeds went to the Macmillan Cancer charity in loving memory of our dear friends Sarah Jane Unsworth-forsyth and Darren Platt who both sadly lost the battle to cancer but loved all things VW and to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance who have rescued a few of our friends. We hope you all had a great weekend and enjoyed helping to support a valuable and worthwhile charity.
Thank You again to everybody that came along. We can't wait to see you all again next year and please keep posting your pictures on Facebook!
