TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
The following comprise the standard terms and conditions of booking for an Action and Adventure activity or party at Camp Hill. In proceeding with the booking it shall be deemed that the booker and each and every guest has accepted them.
1. THE PRICE
a. The price payable for the activity or party shall be as set out in the booking confirmation (subject to adjustments made in accordance with paragraph 10 below).
2. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
a. The party booker understands that these activities can be physically demanding and participants could sustain an injury.
b. The booking is confirmed once the company has received payment and you, the party booker, has received written confirmation from Camp Hill ltd, this includes email or website confirmation.
c. The booker must bring the written confirmation with them on the day of the event.
The party booker understands that age and height restrictions apply (which vary by activity)

d. The booker understands that Segway activities have a maximum weight allowance of 117kg (18.5 stone).
e. The booker understands that if any children are aged under 14 an adult (18+) is required to give consent for them and to be present at all times
f. The booker has made aware to Camp Hill any medical condition that may impact on their safety whilst participating in our activities. Pregnant ladies and people with heart conditions, epilepsy, and severe diabetes are unable to participate in our activities.
4. ALLOCATED TIME SLOTS
Once you have a confirmed booking, you will have an allocated time slot. It is crucial that you turn up prior to your allocated time. A missed time slot will be treated as a cancelled booking and no refund will be given. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate you at a later time, this may not always be possible.
5. CANCELLATION OR REDUCTION IN NUMBERS BY THE PARTY BOOKER
A minimum of 14 days notice prior to the event is required for a complete refund
It is up to the company’s discretion if a booking is moved out of the 14 days notice period. (Subject to availability)
6. PAYMENT TERMS
a. Full payment or voucher number is required at the time of booking.
7. ALTERATIONS IN THE PRICE
Additional services requested by the booker before or on the day and not included in the original booking will be payable by the booker in advance or on the Event day and are subject to availability.
8. CANCELLATION BY CAMP HILL
CAMP HILL reserves the right to cancel the booking if;
Due to circumstances beyond the control of Camp Hill including but not limited to war, riot, industrial dispute, or fire; and in such circumstances Camp Hill shall have no liability to make any payments to the booker or refund any part of the booking.
9. POSTPONEMENT AND CHANGES IN THE EVENT
Whilst every effort is made by Camp Hill to carry out the activity in accordance with the booking, Camp Hill retains the right to postpone or change the booking or nature of the activity if this is necessary due to circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to adverse weather conditions or unavailability of suitable staff, equipment or the original venue. In such circumstances Camp Hill will notify the booker as soon as reasonably practicable of such changes and suitable arrangements will be made.
10. CAMP HILL’S AUTHORITY AT THE EVENT
The booker agrees on its own behalf and on behalf of each and every party member: -
i. that the opinion of Camp Hill is final;
ii. to comply with any request or order made by Camp Hill in the interests of safety howsoever expressed;
iii. to comply with any reasonable instruction given by Camp Hill for any other reason.
11. Camp Hill reserves the right to request any party member to leave or be removed if in the opinion of Camp Hill the party member is behaving in a dangerous, unreasonable or disruptive manner and the booker agrees to procure that such request will be complied with by each and every party member. In such circumstances Camp Hill will be under no liability to the booker or the party member in respect of any refund of the booking or compensation for any costs or damage which may be incurred by the booker or the party member.
Before participating in Camp Hill activities every party member will be required to sign a disclaimer, a copy of which is available on request.
12. LIABILITY OF THE PARTY BOOKER FOR DAMAGE
13. The booker agrees that in the event of damage being caused to any facilities, (including buildings and fixtures and fittings), vehicles or equipment of whatsoever the booker will be liable for the facilities and each and every vehicle or piece of equipment so damaged as follows: -
If the damage arises out of any act or omission of the booker or any party member the booker shall be liable for the first £500.00 on each and every item.
If the cause of the damage were deliberate the party booker shall be liable for all the damages so caused or the full replacement values of each and every item whichever is less.
14. LIABILITY OF CAMP HILL FOR DAMAGE
Camp Hill agrees to exercise all reasonable skill and care
Camp Hill has no liability to the booker or any Guest (other than liability for death or personal injury of a Guest resulting from Camp Hill’s negligence) for any loss or damage of any nature howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with attendance at the Event to the Party booker or the Guest or the property of the Party booker or Guest unless otherwise covered by the public liability insurance carried by Camp Hill at the date of the Event any such claim by the party booker or guest being made on the terms and conditions of such insurance a copy of which is available on request
For safety reasons, Camp Hill reserves the right to refuse entry should a potential customer be inappropriately dressed. Please find a list of advisable dress on the booking confirmation email you will receive after making a booking with us.
